Born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, Chris Butler developed a passion for real estate and finance from an early age. He attended the University of Washington, where he honed his skills and knowledge in business, communication, sales and finance.
With a strong foundation in business education and sales, Chris delved into the real estate world founding Butler Property Group, initially focusing on development projects. He specialized in flipping properties and spearheading new construction developments, particularly townhomes and luxury properties. Over the span of close to 15 years, Chris undertook nearly 50 successful projects, establishing himself as a reputable figure in the real estate industry.
Driven by a desire for new challenges and opportunities, Chris made a strategic transition into the mortgage space. His expertise and dedication quickly propelled him to the forefront of the industry. As a top loan originator in Washington, Chris and his team have facilitated over $100 million in transactions in recent years, demonstrating his proficiency and commitment to excellence. With an impressive portfolio boasting more than 250 transactions, Chris's track record speaks volumes about his expertise and professionalism.
Drawing upon his extensive experience and innovative mindset, Chris embarked on a new venture by founding Smart Loans WA. With a vision of revolutionizing the mortgage industry, Chris aims to establish Smart Loans WA as one of the fastest and most technologically advanced mortgage shops in the country. Through cutting-edge solutions and a client-centric approach, Chris and his team strive to redefine the mortgage lending experience.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Chris enjoys unwinding on the golf course and passionately supports his alma mater's sports teams, the University of Washington Huskies. As a devoted husband to his wife, Megan and a loving father to their two young children, Logan and Emilie, Chris finds joy and fulfillment in family life.
